At Integrative Occupational Therapy, the focus goes beyond basic therapy; it's about empowering your child to thrive in their development and empowering you as a parent with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to support them. Each session is tailored to help your child progress meaningfully in ways that matter to them and to you.

Navigating your child’s developmental journey can be challenging, especially when it feels like an endless cycle of evaluations, appointments, and recommendations. I provide hands-on, personalized support, so you’re never left wondering what the next step should be. Together, we’ll develop a clear plan based on your child’s specific needs and goals to make this journey feel more manageable—and rewarding.

In-home therapy offers a familiar, comfortable environment where your child can engage in real-life activities. This approach helps children connect their progress in therapy directly with their daily routines. When therapy takes place in the same environment where they live, learn, and play, it encourages natural learning and skills that transfer smoothly to everyday life.
-
Beyond direct work with your child, I also equip you with practical tools and strategies. This includes insights on managing daily routines, tips for skill-building activities at home, and guidance on how to navigate challenges as they arise. My goal is to empower you as an active partner in your child’s development journey.

School-based and clinic therapies are valuable, offering structured support in specific settings. In-home therapy, however, allows children to work on skills in a familiar, everyday environment, making it easier to integrate therapy into daily routines, such as getting dressed, mealtime, or play. This approach supports natural skill-building and offers parents real-time guidance and strategies to use throughout the day.

Integrative Occupational Therapy does not work directly with insurance companies, which allows for a fully personalized approach without the constraints of insurance-driven limitations. This way, sessions can be tailored entirely to your child’s needs, not confined by restrictions on frequency or duration set by insurance. However, I can provide you with a superbill, which is an itemized receipt that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.
